What You’ll Do
  • Use the nursing process to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and professional standards.
  • Assess patient needs and develop/implement appropriate teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members to support effective unit operations.
  • Maintain accountability for quality patient outcomes and ensure care is aligned with organizational goals.
  • Use data and clinical judgment to evaluate outcomes and promote change for optimal results.
  • Provide leadership while collaborating as a partner on the Interdisciplinary Team.
  • Demonstrate professional responsibility and cultural sensitivity in all patient interactions.
What You NeedRequired
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • CPI certification (12 month) from the Crisis Prevention Institute
  • 2+ years of RN experience
  • Proficiency with computers, software, and web-based applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational/time management skills
Preferred
  • Certification in the clinical specialty area
