What You’ll Do
  • Provide patient care using the nursing process and applicable professional standards.
  • Assess patient needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Educate patients, families, and members of the care team based on individual learning needs.
  • Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and coordinate nursing resources.
  • Delegate and direct tasks to licensed and ancillary team members appropriately.
  • Use clinical information and patient data to evaluate care and promote optimal outcomes.
  • Support patient safety, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and professional nursing practice.
What You NeedRequired
  • Current State of Louisiana RN license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Associate degree in Nursing
  • 2+ years of nursing experience
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Good judgment, interpersonal communication, and self-directed work skills
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Certification in a clinical specialty area
