• Valid RN license in the state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Proven experience working with confidential information in a clinical setting
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to effectively delegate and manage nursing team resources
• Proficient in using basic computer systems and electronic health records

Nice to Have Skills:

• Certification in a clinical specialty area (e.g., perioperative nursing, anesthesia support)
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a surgical environment
• Familiarity with functioning as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Additional Certifications or training related to surgical nursing

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Previous experience working in an operating room or surgical setting is highly desirable

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work day shift (8-hour shifts) starting 05/18/2026
• Ability to perform heavy physical work, including exerting force and working in a physically demanding environment
• Knowledge of infection control standards and OSHA guidelines
• Must be able to work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially communicable diseases
• Must comply with all regulatory standards, including OSHA and HIPAA
