What You’ll Do:
  • Provide safe, high-quality care to ICU patients, adapting to specific patient needs and conditions.
  • Effectively utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, and intervention.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Document patient care and progress accurately using EPIC software.
  • Assist with patient education, discharge planning, and ongoing assessments.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare standards and safety protocols.
What You Need:Required:
  • Current RN license in Louisiana
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • CPI certification (within the last 12 months)
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
  • Proficiency in EPIC documentation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Experience in high-acuity or critical care units
  • Additional certifications in clinical specialties
