Overview

Join our Cardiac Neuro Telemetry Unit in Sanford, FL, providing care for patients with neuro, cardiac, and med-surg needs including post-CABG, MI, and stroke. This 27-bed unit emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and clinical excellence while offering strong growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based nursing care to cardiac and neuro telemetry patients.
Monitor EKG rhythms, recognize changes, and escalate appropriately.
Provide post-cardiac event care including CABG and MI recovery.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery.

Qualifications

Required:

Active Florida or Compact RN license.
1+ year recent acute care Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience.
BLS and ACLS (AHA).
NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of hire.
ADN minimum.

Preferred:

BSN.
2+ years’ experience in cardiac or neuro telemetry.
