- BLS
- Cath Lab RN
- Shifts: Days (with varied times), either 8 or 10hr shifts, 40 hr weekly. Call – 1-2 days per week, and about q2-3, weekend, call does include Holidays. Required to take call.
- Documentation EMR: Meditech
- Monitoring: Sensis
- Equipment: Siemens
- Labs: 2
- Call Team: 4 person call team
- Procedures: IR, Vascular, and Cardiac.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures. Also demonstrates basic understanding of Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine procedures.
- Demonstrates appropriate application of specialized skills for patients undergoing angiography procedures, cardiac cath procedures, pacemakers and IABP insertion. Also demonstrates application of specialized skills involved in hemodynamic monitoring.
- Maintains basic understanding of radiology equipment and image processing, as well as maintaining basic knowledge of Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine procedures
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab.
- Certification: BLS
