Job Description

The RN Circulator plays a critical role in perioperative care, acting as the patient advocate while coordinating the operating room (OR) environment. They work outside the sterile field, ensuring that the surgical team has all necessary supplies, equipment, and support to perform procedures safely and efficiently. This role requires critical thinking, clinical judgment, and excellent communication skills to maintain patient safety and workflow efficiency throughout surgery

Qualifications

  • Must be a licensed registered nurse (RN).
  • Completion of a BSN or ADN program is typically required; perioperative certification is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and perioperative nursing standards
  • Experience in high-acuity or fast-paced hospital environments is advantageous.
