The role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage varying patient populations and acuity levels. Orientation will be provided for each assigned unit.Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care across various medical/surgical units.
• Float between Medical, Laulima Surgical Acute, and occasionally Cardiovascular Units as needed.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care following facility protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments using Meditech/EPIC EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tube equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection control standards.
• Respond to changing acuity and staffing needs across departments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to professional nursing attire guidelines and facility policies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Active Hawaii RN license (or must apply immediately upon offer; required by start date).
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience (Med-Surg or Step-Down preferred).
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (PALS, TNCC, ENPC, Procedural Sedation beneficial).
• Proficiency with Meditech/EPIC EMR and common unit equipment.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to float efficiently between multiple units and adapt to varying workloads.
• Must arrive Thursday before start date for Employee Health appointment on Friday.
