= Position Summary
Seeking experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) professionals skilled in moderate sedation, patient monitoring, assessment, and Foley placement for both basic and complex IR and Neuroendovascular procedures. Candidates must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly during emergencies.

IR Rooms: 5
Patient Volume: ~40 50 patients daily
Experience: 1+ year accepted (must have IR experience)
First-Time Travelers: Accepted with relevant IR background
Patient Population: Adults only | Department staffed 24/7

RN:
Administer sedation (when anesthesia not required)
Patient monitoring, assessment, and charting
Experience with General IR and Neuro IR (required) procedures
RT(R):
Scrubbing and panning simultaneously
Support General IR procedures (Neuro experience preferred; manager approval required if absent)
Charging/coding knowledge preferred but not required
>z Common Procedures
General IR: Kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, central lines, PICCs/ports, fistulograms, IVC filters, nephrostomy tubes, embolizations, thoracentesis/paracentesis, CT-guided biopsies & drains, AAA interventions (preferred).
Neuro IR: Stroke interventions, embolization, DSA, WADA tests, spinal angiograms.
Required Licensure & Certifications
RN: BLS, ACLS RT(R): ARRT, BLS, Wisconsin License

Two coordinators & lead techs
2 3 techs per exam room
Tech specialists
Respiratory Therapy & Hospitalist (24/7)
CNA/Transport available

EMR: EPIC (preferred for RN)
IV Pumps: Alaris
Medication Dispensing: Pyxis
PACS: Change Healthcare
Equipment: Siemens & client equipment, MedRad injector
Additional tools include IVUS, ultrasound, laser, Bovie, and Angiojet (experience not required).

Shift Times:
General IR: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Neuro IR: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Flexible scheduling options available
On-Call Requirements:
Weekday call: ~1 shift per week (EOS to 7:00 AM)
Weekend call: Every 5th 6th weekend
Response time: 30 minutes
Neuro call required only for travelers with Neuro experience
RTO: Up to 7 days approved
Holidays: None currently (subject to change; call only)
