YesContract Length: 13 weeksShifts: FlexibleShift Details: Flexible Weekly Schedule: 36 HoursCertifications/Licenses:
- BLS
- RN Labor and Delivery
- Must be able to circulate.
- Must be willing to float to Mother Baby and take couplets.
- Must be willing to float to other units as safety companion.
- Required:
- Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
- American Heart Association BLS
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider required (NRP recertification required every 2 years)
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion (or equivalent AWHONN approved course) (Not required if a Lactation RN) (FHM recertification required every 2 years)
- American Heart Association ACLS (Not required if a Lactation RN)
- Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing
- 2 hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education
- If Lactation RN: Certification in lactation consulting/counseling (CLC, IBCLC)
- Preferred: 1 year labor and delivery experience
- Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrates sound judgement, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times
- Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment
- Creativity, problem analysis and decision making
- Ability to work varied shifts
- Schedule Requirements
- This role requires regular and sustained attendance.
- The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
- On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
