The RN will provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility, ensuring quality clinical outcomes and maintaining a supportive environment for long-term residents. The nurse will work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care environment. Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and document patient status, progress, and responses to treatment. Coordinate with CNAs, LPNs, and healthcare team members for resident care. Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and emergencies. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance. Educate residents and families on care plans and health management. Requirements Active RN License (West Virginia or Compact) BLS Certification (Required) Minimum 1–2 years of Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills Ability to work flexible shifts including days and evenings About the Facility St. Barbara's Memorial Nursing is a respected skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing compassionate long-term and rehabilitative care to residents in the Monongah community.
