Registered Nurse Manager

Hospital Acute Care Unit

This role will manage the full responsibilities of an inpatient acute care Medical Telemetry hospital Unit. at Williamsburg Regional Medical Center

The Manager will supervise and manage a 24-hour operation.

Shift: Days (flexible)

The RN Manager is responsible and accountable for 24 hr operations, including scheduling, evaluations, resources, and mentoring and/or assisting staff. Interviews, hires, and develops team members to achieve a highly effective work team. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 yrs or more of RECENT Nursing Leadership in a acute care hospital setting REQUIRED

  • Bachelors in Nursing (or higher) REQUIRED

  • RN License to practice in Virginia REQUIRED

Education

  • RN-Bachelor's Degree, or

  • RN-Master's Degree

Certifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Facility Description:

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is a 145-bed facility featuring the latest healthcare technologies, serving Williamsburg and the surrounding community.

The hospital is a Certified Primary Stroke Center and STEMI Center and offers a full range of medical care from emergency heart catheterization to all-inclusive maternity care where patients may stay in one room, as well as a Gold Level Geriatric ER.
