Job Description

Part-Time School Nurse (1:1 Student Support) – | Amherst, NY

Starting at $35/hr

This meaningful part-time opportunity offers a consistent schedule, rewarding work, and the chance to be a critical support for a young learner.

Schedule

Part-Time (School Year + Summer Session)

  • Tuesdays & Wednesdays only
  • 7:45 AM – 1:15 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive 1:1 nursing care during the school day
  • Ensure the GJ tube remains secure during activities
  • Support communication and engagement with staff and activities
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for the student

(Medical orders have been requested and will be provided upon assignment. The student currently does not require medications.)

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of New York.
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Current BLS certification, with further certifications preferred.
