Job Summary
Calling All RNs: Make a Difference Where It Matters Most!Exceptional Care for Children (ECC) is thrilled to offer a unique opportunity to join our passionate and expanding healthcare team as a Registered Nurse.
Schedule: Full-time 3 - 12 hour shifts per week (6PM-6AM), Every third weekendLocation: Delaware's first and only pediatric skilled nursing facility in NewarkAt ECC, we are more than just a nursing facility, we're a place our patients call home. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we provide 24/7 skilled nursing support to medically fragile children and young adults. Our residents rely on advanced technology, but they thrive because of the love, expertise, and dedication of people like you.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Directly cares for patients with needs requiring their clinical expertise and within scope and standard of care.
- Documents accurately and completely.
- Advocates for residents within and outside of Exceptional Care for Children.
- Provides required training to family members and/or caregivers on specific patient care goals.
- Manages workflow of Staff Certified Nursing Assistant who provide care to assigned patients.
- Acts as charge RN when indicated.
Qualifications and Skills
• Education and experience sufficient to meet position requirements.• Valid RN license in state of DE, compact state, or ability to obtain via reciprocity.• Must have prior RN experience.• Possess special interest in working with pediatric long term care residents and children with special needs.• Ability to speak, read, and write English and to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, vendors and other staff members.• Personifies Exceptional Care for Children's core values of Service, Helpfulness, Excellence, Leadership, Dedication, Outstanding Conduct and Integrity, and Nurturing.
The successful candidate may be eligible for a $5000 sign on bonus to be paid over a period of 12 months.
