Job Description

Impact Recruitment is currently searching for a highly motivated Roadway Design Engineer to join a dynamic and highly technical team of planners, engineers, and technicians in the Port St. Lucie, Florida area. As a roadway design engineer, you will lead design projects for a variety of clients in public and private industries. You will also have the opportunity to be part of cutting-edge design projects that utilize the latest technologies for delivering design services to clients. Responsibilities: Roadway design Geometric layout Erosion and sedimentation control Traffic control design Other related design tasks Plan production and development of bid sets Coordinating with other disciplines Obtaining permits required from regulatory agencies Interact and coordinate regularly with clients and sub consultants in the various assignments What you need to have: BS degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. 4+ years relevant experience. Professional Engineering License required. Projects with state, local, or federal agencies. Demonstrated capabilities and success working on medium to large projects, multi-office projects, and/or multiple projects. Proven leadership, communication, mentoring and client liaison skills Proficient with MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil3D and GeoPAK. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
