Job Description

Roadway Design Engineer

Engineering firm in Raleigh is looking for a Roadway Design Engineer to design and manage roadway projects. Responsibilities include:

Assisting the development and design of infrastructure projects for roadways, including intersections, collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways, interstates, and interstate interchanges
Assisting in developing project scopes and budgets
Interfacing with and maintaining client needs for the project manager
Mentoring and developing junior staff and design/drafters
Developing project plans and maintaining project schedules

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in roadway design
NCDOT experience preferred
Experience with Microstation required
