Pay
- $25.00 plus per hour

Position Summary
- Safely operate a garbage truck on assigned routes to collect solid waste
- Read route sheets and service each customer as assigned by the dispatcher
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections including fluids, safety equipment, and tires
- Handle a physically demanding role including loading and unloading, sometimes without helpers
- Operate hydraulic controls to lift and load refuse and dispose at designated facilities
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional Saturdays as needed
- Average 50 hour work week
Job Requirements
ROLL-OFF EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION
Candidates without previous Roll-Off driving experience will not be considered.
NO MANUAL TRANSMISSION RESTRICTION
Drivers must be able to operate BOTH manual and automatic transmission trucks.
- Valid Class A or B CDL with no restrictions
- Must be able to operate both manual and automatic trucks
- At least 2 years of work experience with a stable work history, preferably in a driving role
- Ability to lift 50 plus pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Garbage truck experience is a plus
