Position Overview

Shaw Industries is seeking a Roll Up/Sew On Operator Lift Truck Operator to transport greige goods in rolls or floats to the CDR Sew-On area, ensuring continuous operations.

This role works Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm

Responsibilities:

• Complete and update production logs and other SQS documentation

• Operate a lift truck to transport buggies, rolls, and leadoff throughout the plant as needed

• Perform pre-shift lift truck inspections

• Operate control panels to feed carpet into the production line

• Use a computer and scanner to track materials and production data

• Match production tickets to the schedule

• Inspect empty buggies for missing or damaged felt liners

• Assist the Sew-On Operator with various tasks

• Use a sewing machine as required

• Safely use hand tools, including a utility knife
