Job Description
Ohio and Indiana Roofing is growing and looking for a Sales Rep to join our team. In this role you will be developing new clients for commercial and industrial roofing projects. In this dynamic role you will work on sales and project management based on your skillset and abilities. Our work consists of roofing replacement, roofing maintenance, and new opportunities in the private market. We are targeting an individual with previous commercial roofing experience, but will consider others with a strong sales or construction background. At Ohio and Indiana Roofing, we are willing and able to train those that align with our core values. In this exciting role, tasks will progress as you gain experience which will result in more independence and opportunity for professional and financial growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and new clients.
- Represents the company in a positive manner to other trades, contractors, architects and owners.
- Works in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Submits required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Actively participate in after-hours networking events, client engagements, industry trainings and trade shows to strengthen relationships, stay informed on market trends, and continuously develop product and sales expertise. These efforts help build trust with prospects and customers while positioning the company as a committed and knowledgeable partner.
- Annually set and proactively maintain individual sales goals that align with company objectives. This includes analyzing market trends, reviewing past performance, and identifying growth opportunities to establish realistic yet ambitious targets. Continuously track progress throughout the year and adjust strategies to ensure consistent performance.
- Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Communication Skills - excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Technical & Administrative Skills - proficient with Outlook, Excel, Word and Email
- Previous experience within the commercial roofing industry is ideal, but willing to train
