The Superintendent will coordinate crews, materials, equipment, schedules, jobsite safety, quality, and communication with customers and internal leadership.Why join us?

- * Review contracts, scopes of work, drawings, specifications, measurements, estimates, and project requirements before work begins.
- * Review and prepare complete job packets for assigned roofing projects.
- * Verify roofing measurements, material quantities, accessories, equipment, labor needs, and project sequencing.
- * Detail projects within the company’s internal software.
- * Order roofing materials, accessories, equipment, dumpsters, lifts, and other jobsite resources.
- * Identify potential project complications before crews arrive onsite.
- * Confirm project schedules, delivery dates, crew availability, and customer expectations.
- * Coordinate permits, inspections, building access, staging areas, and site logistics as required.
- * Oversee roofing crews and subcontractors throughout the installation process.
- * Visit active jobsites regularly and remain accessible to crews and customers.
- * Ensure crews understand the scope of work, installation details, safety expectations, and daily priorities.
- * Monitor job progress and adjust labor, materials, or scheduling when necessary.
- * Coordinate multiple roofing projects at different stages of completion.
- * Resolve jobsite issues involving materials, measurements, installation conditions, access, weather, or customer concerns.
- * Ensure jobs remain on schedule and within the established scope.
- * Maintain accountability for productivity, workmanship, cleanliness, and professional conduct.
- * Inspect roofing work throughout the installation process.
- * Confirm that installation meets manufacturer requirements, project specifications, building codes, and company quality standards.
- * Verify proper installation of flashing, penetrations, edges, transitions, drainage components, underlayment, insulation, membranes, shingles, panels, or other roofing materials.
- * Identify workmanship concerns early and coordinate corrective action.
- * Perform final inspections and develop punch lists when necessary.
- * Confirm that punch-list items are completed before project closeout.
- * Help reduce callbacks, warranty claims, leaks, and preventable rework.
- * Promote and enforce company safety requirements on every jobsite.
- * Ensure crews and subcontractors use appropriate fall protection and personal protective equipment.
- * Conduct or participate in jobsite safety meetings and inspections.
- * Identify unsafe working conditions and correct them immediately.
- * Ensure ladders, tools, vehicles, equipment, and material staging areas are properly maintained and used.
- * Document jobsite incidents, property damage, safety concerns, and corrective actions.
- * Follow OSHA requirements and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- * Serve as a professional company representative at jobsites.
- * Communicate project schedules, progress, delays, changes, and concerns to customers and internal leadership.
- * Respond promptly to customer questions and jobsite concerns.
- * Coordinate with sales, estimating, production, administration, and accounting personnel.
- * Maintain clear project notes, photographs, documentation, purchase information, and completion records.
- * Notify leadership of material overages, scope changes, production problems, or potential financial concerns.
- * Build positive relationships with crews, subcontractors, suppliers, homeowners, property managers, and general contractors.
- * Order project materials accurately and on time.
- * Use the provided company purchasing accounts for approved project expenses.
- * Track additional purchases and communicate job-cost changes.
- * Minimize material shortages, unnecessary purchases, waste, and emergency deliveries.
- * Review field conditions that may affect labor or material costs.
- * Obtain authorization for work outside the original project scope.
- * Submit receipts and supporting documentation according to company procedures.
- * Several years of roofing construction experience.
- * Previous experience supervising roofing crews or roofing projects.
- * Strong knowledge of roofing materials, installation methods, jobsite sequencing, and common roofing problems.
- * Ability to read roofing plans, specifications, measurements, takeoffs, and scopes of work.
- * Ability to prepare or review job packets and calculate material requirements.
- * Experience ordering roofing materials and coordinating project deliveries.
- * Strong organization and time-management skills.
- * Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- * Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- * Basic computer and mobile technology skills.
- * Ability to learn the company’s project management and detailing software.
- * Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
- * Ability to travel to jobsites throughout the assigned territory.
- * Experience as a Roofing Superintendent, Production Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Foreman.
- * Experience with both steep-slope and low-slope roofing systems.
- * Knowledge of shingle, metal, TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, PVC, coatings, or related roofing systems.
- * Experience working directly with homeowners, commercial property owners, general contractors, or property managers.
- * OSHA 10, OSHA 30, manufacturer certifications, or other relevant construction credentials.
- * Experience using roofing measurement, estimating, scheduling, or project management software.
