Roofing TechnicianCompany: Element RoofingLocation: Carmel, INPay Range: $18 – $22 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary

Element Roofing is seeking a dependable and hardworking Roofing Technician to join our growing team in Carmel, Indiana. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial roofing systems. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a physically demanding outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and replace various roofing systems (shingles, metal, flat roofs, etc.)
Inspect roofs to assess damage and determine necessary repairs
Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for installation
Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific job requirements
Ensure all work meets company quality standards and local building codes
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Follow all safety protocols and use protective equipment properly
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications

Previous roofing or construction experience preferred (but not required)
Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs)
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Reliable transportation and punctuality
Willingness to learn and take direction
Valid driver's license is a plus
