GSM Services is looking for a driven, experienced RoofSHIELD Operations Leader to lead and grow our RoofSHIELD Division!

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who understands roofing operations, thrives on planning and problem-solving, and knows how to bring out the best in a team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate production and resources, develop team members, and ensure every project reflects GSM Services' commitment to quality, safety, and our culture of WOW service.

What You'll Do

Lead Operations & Drive Production

• Oversee the leadership and production of the RoofSHIELD Division.
• Coordinate daily schedules, dispatch, materials, equipment, and resources to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Partner with the Field Supervisor to establish production plans, resolve challenges, and keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Participate in strategic planning, forecasting, and post-job reviews to continually improve performance.

Champion Safety & Quality

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with GSM Services safety standards.
• Work with the Field Supervisor and Safety Director to identify concerns, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure quality checks, morning huddles, and proper job documentation are completed consistently.

Lead, Develop & Inspire People

• Provide leadership, direction, and support to the Field Supervisor and field teams.
• Conduct crew meetings, coordinate training, and support coworker development.
• Participate in hiring and performance management to build a strong, accountable, and successful team.

Deliver Exceptional Customer Service

• Build lasting customer relationships and address concerns with professionalism and urgency.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers, dispatch, field personnel, and company leadership.
• Ensure customers receive timely updates, clear expectations, and the exceptional service they deserve.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in the roofing industry or a related field, with strong roofing operations knowledge.
• Working knowledge of roofing systems and materials, including built-up roofing, TPO, PVC, EPDM, metal, modified bitumen, and other roofing applications.
• Knowledge of roofing tools, equipment, decking, and structural materials.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
• A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, accountability, and customer satisfaction.
• Integrity, teamwork, resilience, and a customer-first mindset.
• Computer skills, including scheduling, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
