JOB TITLE: Rotating Equipment QA InspectorTOP 3 SKILLS: QA inspecting, rotating equipment, manufacturingLOCATION: Lathrop, CADURATION: 3-6 MonthsRATE RANGE: Market Rate
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a QA Inspector specializing in rotating equipment to support installation and commissioning efforts on a major industrial project. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of pumps, compressors, and other critical equipment, while also supporting piping activities as needed.RESPONSIBILITIES:- Inspect rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and motors
- Verify installation, alignment, and mechanical tolerances
- Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
- Review vendor documentation and technical manuals
- Assist with piping inspections and tie-ins
- Maintain reports and quality documentation
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 8+ years of QA inspection experience with rotating equipment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and alignment
- Industrial construction or manufacturing experience
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with piping systems
- Commissioning/startup experience
- Familiarity with API standards
- Relevant certifications
