JOB TITLE: Delivery Driver
DEPARTMENT: Route Department 
REPORTS TO: Route Supervisor/ Operations Manager
SUMMARY: Drivers deliver Culligan products, delivering and upselling to a designated customer base within a geographic area. Drivers will also build strong, lasting relationships with bottled water and salt customers by providing exceptional service, developing sales, and maintaining relationships to generate additional revenue from existing customers. Driver's also routinely resolve customer issues by identifying satisfactory solutions. They must be comfortable in a physically demanding, customer-facing, sales-oriented position. This position requires that you be available to work Monday-Friday and for some special events and weekends, approved by supervisor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drives a company truck (non-CDL) to deliver products to customer according to daily route schedule
  • Input daily route data into phone for reporting delivered products, customer notes & updates, and payments
  • Able to follow a predetermined route safely and efficiently while communicating with the route customer service representatives about scheduling conflicts or potential changes in the route
  • Maintain a clean company vehicle 
  • Load and unload product to and from the company vehicle 
  • Deliver and upsell to a designated customer base with a geographic area
  • Build strong customer relationships on an on-going basis with the objective of continuing and renewing business
  • Identify prospective customers through the assigned customer base to solicit new clients
  • Develop sales and relationships to generate additional revenue from existing customers
  • Routinely resolve customer issues by identifying satisfactory solutions
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork on daily basis
  • Offer new products and services at the time of established product delivery to result in add-ons to the account with additional product lines
  • Occasionally resolve customer issues within established guidelines and partners with customer in identifying satisfactory solutions
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 100 pounds / frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds / continually lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • No prior experience or training.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must pass a driving test issued by Culligan 
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and /or move more than 100 pounds / frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds / continually lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
