• Perform advanced respiratory and neuro diagnostic procedures with precision and care.
• Operate and troubleshoot high-tech equipment such as Nitric Oxide therapy, ECMO, bedside bronchoscopies, and ventilators including Puritan Bennett 840 and 980.
• Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring safety and comfort during complex diagnostics and therapies.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Required Skills:

• Valid Louisiana RRT license in hand (must be current).
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in respiratory therapy.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records.
• Strong understanding of ventilator management, nitric oxide therapy, ECMO, and bedside bronchoscopies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with transport ventilators such as Pneutron, Newport, and Parapac.
• Experience with neuro diagnostics (Neuro Assessments, EEG, etc.).
• Additional certifications in advanced airway management or neuro therapy.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate's Degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Prior experience in a hospital setting specializing in respiratory and neuro diagnostics.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Other Requirements:

• Louisiana license must be current and in hand.
• Will accept CRTs with appropriate experience.
• Availability to work every other weekend; holiday coverage required.
• No call, no float requirements.
• Shift: 3 days/week, 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30).
• Legal compliance with licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and licensure renewals.
