RUM Operator

Principle Accountabilities

Responsible for set-up and troubleshooting equipment and processes.Ensure product is manufactured and completed as per technical specifications.Ensure machine set up's are completed as per standard and meets specifications.Ensure equipment and set-up parameters are established, followed and improved.Ensure materials required for changeover are available and secured prior to set-ups.Ensure product is packed and identified as per specifications.Ensure accurate inventory and effective control of materials and supplies.Ensure downtime is minimized by ensuring proper equipment set-ups, material is present prior to changeover and report lack of raw materials, tooling and/or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.Coaching and mentoring assistants by providing clear and precise instructions.Ensure all safety rules and company policies/procedures are followed.Perform quality control checksAbility to read tape measureMust be detailed oriented and have a sense of urgencyUse PPE as requiredMaintain good housekeepingRelated tasks as requested by supervisor

Essential Skills and Experience

Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.No travel requiredMust be able to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.Ability to repeatedly lift to a maximum of 50 lbs.Must have basic computer skills, AS400, Microsoft Office.Must have basic math skills.
