Job Description

Hedrick Medical Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital in Chillicothe, MO, is seeking a BC/BE family medicine physician to join a well-established outpatient clinic as part of Saint Luke's in Kansas City, MO.

Position Highlights:

• This role offers a traditional primary care panel with the opportunity to broaden your practice scope in a rural setting

• Our primary care clinic is part of a hospital-based multispecialty campus, offering on-site access to a wide range of specialists, including OB/GYN and General Surgery in the same clinic, for a highly collaborative environment

• Enjoy a balanced schedule with a 4-day work week (32 patient contact hours) plus one dedicated admin day; no weekends required

• The ideal candidate will be supported by excellent MA's and nurses, with strong collaboration with APPs

• Physicians have the option to round at local nursing homes; routine clinic call is handled by APPs

• Opportunity to precept medical students, if desired

• Patients with acute conditions have access to same-day clinic appointments for timely care; imaging and laboratory services are offered onsite to streamline patient care

• Fully integrated Epic EMR

Chillicothe lies in the heart of a rich agricultural section of the state 90 miles northeast of Kansas City and is the largest community in north central Missouri.
