Job Description

Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Project Manager

General Summary: Reporting to the RHT Grant Manager, the RHT Project Manager is responsible for management, planning, and implementation of CCSNH system wide projects that align with the scope, budget, and advancement of the Rural Health Transformation Grant. This role will oversee cross-functional projects including curriculum development (40%), technology implementation (40%), and data tracking efforts (20%) aligned with grant objectives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide highly organized and proactive project management to lead and coordinate multiple initiatives under a healthcare-focused grant program.
  • Collaborates with Regional Leads and program staff to ensure alignment between program implementation and measurable outcomes within healthcare pathways identify by the grant.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of healthcare-related curriculum projects.
  • Oversee technology-related initiatives that support grant goals, including system implementations or digital tools.
  • Lead and guide cross-functional team members across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for healthcare curriculum and technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including leadership, subject matter experts, and external partners.
  • Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure projects stay on track and within scope.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, provide status updates, and address risks or roadblocks.
  • Manage and track project data, ensuring alignment between project outputs and grant performance metrics.
  • Analyze and report on project outcomes to demonstrate progress toward grant objectives.
  • Partners with the Director of Institutional Research (IR) to develop and maintain systems to track and report on grant outcomes, such as participant enrollment, demographics, training completion, credential attainment, employment outcomes metrics, as examples.
  • Partners with the Director of IR to build and manage data dashboards and visualization tools to support real-time performance monitoring and strategic decision-making for RHT grant.
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements, timelines, and reporting standards.
  • Complies with all system, college, state and federal rules and regulations;
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or universityin Business, Project Management, Education, Data Analytics, Public Health, Public Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: Six (6) years of project/program management experience within higher education, workforce development, grant administration, or related experience..

License/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License or access to statewide transportation.

Additional Desired Qualifications: Project management skills including the ability to define projects, prioritize and manage multiple projects, measure and evaluate progress and outcomes, and meet timelines while producing quality work. Working knowledge of data management and strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity. Measure and evaluate progress and outcomes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in the use of technology, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other graphic presentation software. Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, recommend and implement solutions in a timely fashion. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced grant environment. Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and systems. High level of discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. Ability to evaluate and analyze program effectiveness and resource utilization. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in the performance of duties. Must be willing to maintain an appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by management.
