Summary:As the Safety Ambassador, you play a critical role in creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all guests and team members. You are the first point of contact at the facility, ensuring each guest is greeted promptly and appropriately while upholding all safety protocols and operating procedures. Your professionalism, vigilance, and commitment to exceptional service contribute directly to the casino's safety standards, guest satisfaction, and overall operational success.Job Description:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
- Greet guests upon arrival, verify valid ID, and ensure all guests are at least 21 years of age to enter the facility
- Monitor and maintain headcounts of guests entering and exiting to ensure venue capacity limits are not exceeded
- Identify guests who may be showing signs of illness and follow established protocols, including temperature checks and guest service support
- Answer guest questions accurately regarding the property, events, and services, and ensure unique needs are accommodated with professionalism and care
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a high-volume guest service or public safety role preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
- Strong verbal communication skills and a calm demeanor under pressure or in emergency situations
- Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, and policy manuals
Requirements:
- This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana
- At least 21 Years of Age
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
Work Cards:
- Alcohol Awareness Card
- Nevada Gaming Registration
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally push/pull up to 75 lbs
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
- Frequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, and twist
- Regularly stand and walk
- Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
- Ability to distinguish between shades of color
- Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
- Ability to run or jog when required in emergency situations
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolding, or ramps
