Responsibilities: This person will coordinate anhydrous ammonia plumbing projects and assist in ensuring that the requirements of the Consent Decree are achieved. They will work within the assigned region with the facility managers to implement, maintain, and monitor the Corporate Safety, Environmental, and Regulatory Program. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.

What You'll Do

  • Compile information and submit Risk Management Plan (RMP) renewals and updates for MFA Incorporated, MEI, LLC, and local affiliates with anhydrous ammonia
  • Maintain a spreadsheet with dates of RMP renewal, Hazard Reviews, and Compliance Audits completed at RMP-covered facilities
  • Maintain a degree of knowledge pertaining to laws and regulations
  • Understand and convey how facilities are meeting or not meeting compliance
  • Monitor evolving industry standards, laws and regulations, and current interpretations
  • Attend training as needed to enhance knowledge in safety, environmental and regulatory fields

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in one or a combination of the following: Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Physical Science, Geology, Engineering, Agronomy, Soil Science, Agriculture, Animal Science, Soil Conservation, or a closely related field;
  • 3 years' experience implementing safety, environmental, and/or regulatory programs
