POSITION TITLE: Safety Coordinator
REPORTS TO: EHS Manager
SUPERVISES: None
DATE: February 2026
FLSA: Full Time Non-Exempt Hourly
FUNCTION
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe work environment by coordinating safety programs, conducting training, performing inspections and supporting safety culture programs. This role supports management and employees in identifying and mitigating workplace hazards to prevent accidents and injuries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate and conduct employee safety training and toolbox talks.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure its availability and proper use.
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to resolve safety concerns and implement improvements.
- Promote a strong safety culture through communication, awareness campaigns, and employee engagement.
- Conduct audits and inspections for EHS MS
