Job Title: Safety CoordinatorLocation: Saint Cloud, MNCompensation: $24.95 per hour – paid weeklySchedule: 2nd Shift | Monday- Friday | 2:00pm- 10:00pmJob Type: Temp-to-Hire  | Full-timeAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Safety Coordinator for a manufacturing company in St. Cloud, MN. In this role, you’ll help maintain a safe work environment by preventing injuries, supporting compliance, and training employees on best practices. If you enjoy hands-on safety work, problem-solving, and making a direct impact on workplace safety, this could be a great fit.What You’ll Do as a Safety Coordinator:
  • Diagnose and treat workplace injuries and illnesses in accordance with accepted practices and company policies
  • Monitor and recommend injury prevention programs and continuous safety improvements
  • Conduct workplace inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Train and coach employees on proper safety procedures and use of PPE
  • Perform industrial hygiene testing, record keeping, and follow-up activities
  • Support safety and HR initiatives, including administrative tasks and monthly safety committee meetings
  • Assist with additional duties such as maintenance temperature checks and filling in for other roles as needed
What You Need to Bring to the Safety Coordinator Role:
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Strong attention to safety, detail, and compliance standards
  • Ability to work overtime and be on-call on weekends as assigned
  • Reliable attendance in compliance with company guidelines
  • Ability to perform inspections, documentation, and follow established procedures
  • Previous safety or industrial environment experience preferred
