Job Description
Salary 30+ an hr Position will be 6-8 months full time hours (can be flexible hours) 7am-3pm M-F
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies within a distribution/manufacturing environment
- Manage facility safety programs, contractor activities, and maintenance compliance requirements
- Develop, create, and implement comprehensive safety training programs for employees at all levels
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Research, evaluate, and recommend best practices to drive continuous safety improvement
- Promote strong employee engagement by actively fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, HR, and leadership to support safety initiatives
- Maintain documentation, reports, and compliance records
- (Preferred) Support food safety initiatives in alignment with FDA or similar regulatory standards
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of health and safety experience in a distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
- OSHA 10 Certification required
- Demonstrated experience with OSHA compliance and regulatory standards
- Experience in facility and contractor management
- Proven ability to develop and implement safety training programs
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on employee engagement
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- (Preferred) Experience with FDA regulations or food manufacturing safety standards
