Job Description
- Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Safety Coordinator in Hammond, IN area!
- Responsibilities:
- Assist with implementing and maintaining workplace safety policies and procedures
- Support routine safety inspections, audits, and job hazard analyses
- Help document and track safety incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions
- Maintain safety records, logs, and compliance documentation
- Assist with employee safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks
- Promote safety awareness and encourage safe work practices among employees
- Support emergency preparedness activities and drills
- Communicate safety concerns to supervisors and the safety team
- Participate in safety meetings and improvement initiatives
- Perform other safety-related duties as assigned
Requirements:- OSHA 10-Hour Certification
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Internship or coursework related to workplace safety
