Safety Coordinator Location: Chandler, AZ Duration: 3 Months (Start: September 28, 2026) Type: 1099 ContractorCompensation & Schedule Pay Rate: $56/hr️ Overtime: Yes Per Diem: None - Locals only Completion Bonus: $150/month Pay Frequency: Weekly Schedule: Monday-Friday | Approximately 50 Hours/Week Additional Schedule Details: Initial schedule is 4:00 AM-3:00 PM. This opportunity provides hands-on safety oversight for electrical construction activities while supporting one of the most active mission-critical construction markets in the country.Required Qualifications OSHA 30 Certification OSHA 510 Certification Experience supporting active construction projects Strong field safety presence and hazard recognition skills
Preferred Qualifications CHST, ASP, CSP, STS-C, or other BCSP Credential Data Center Construction Experience Electrical Construction Safety Experience Experience working within owner-driven safety programs Experience conducting audits, inspections, and compliance reviews Strong documentation and reporting skills
What You'll Be DoingProvide daily field safety oversight for electrical construction activities
Conduct routine safety walks, inspections, and hazard assessments
Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
Monitor electrical installation activities and high-risk work operations
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
Support site PPE inventory, distribution, and usage compliance
Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and pre-task plans
Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
Coordinate safety activities with project management and supervision
Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project
