As a Safety Coordinator at Atlas TubeZekelman Industries, you will play a key role in supporting and advancing the facility’s Occupational Health and Safety program. This position is responsible for driving a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, implementing safety initiatives, and promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
You will collaborate closely with plant leadership, front-line supervisors, and corporate safety teams to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve safety performance. This is a full-time, onsite role located in Blytheville, AR.

What You’ll Do
Provide leadership and coaching on safety and health matters to plant leadership with an emphasis on front-line supervision.
Assist in developing and maintaining safety programs and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, ensure compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
Deliver safety orientation and ongoing training programs to employees and site personnel.
Investigate accidents and near-misses, document findings, and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
Prepare detailed incident reports for internal use and regulatory requirements.
Maintain current knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable safety standards.
Ensure safety equipment and personal protective equipment are available, properly maintained, and used correctly.
Develop and maintain Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for all roles across the facility.
Provide regular safety performance updates using systems such as Intelex and other communication tools.
Support safety initiatives and programs across other Zekelman facilities as needed.
Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
3+ years of experience in safety, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Associate’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and engage diverse teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with safety management systems such as EHS Insight or similar platforms.
Assertive and decisive with demonstrated leadership abilities and a commitment to safety culture.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
OSHA certification (10-hour or 30-hour) and First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
Ability to maintain regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance.
Physical Requirements
Ability to move, lift, and carry objects while maintaining stamina and coordination.
Ability to stand or remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to work in a plant or manufacturing environment.
