Who WE Need

Our growing Product Stewardship Team is seeking to add an SDS Author to provide all-around administrative support in helping the team meet it’s obligations.  This role will require true attention to detail and excellent writing skills. 

Your Knowledge, Skills and Experience will include:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant roles 
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external customers 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Results oriented with effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player
  • Demonstrated relationship-building skills
  • Proficient in MS programs

What YOU Can Do For Us

  • Author Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and revise existing SDS both for finished goods, intermediates, and performance evaluation samples and proprietary/blind materials 
  • Provide SDS support to Sales, R&D and global operations including US and International manufacturing plants
  • Provide response to SDS inquiries from external and internal customers and satisfy R&D demand for SDS for samples
  • Build and maintain knowledge of internal systems, databases and industry regulations
  • Enter composition, physical properties, and hazard classification information for new raw materials into the database
  • File vendor’s environmental, health, safety, and regulatory information for raw materials
  • Provide response to SDS inquiries from external and internal customers 
  • Construct and maintain training manual to document current processes and procedures for authoring SDS for both non-hazardous and hazardous SDS
  • Other duties as assigned
