Well-established general contractor with over 25 years in the market seeking to hire a Safety Manager for their Charleston team! Plenty of work lined up with excellent clients.

Client Details

Our client has been a namesake General Contractor in the Carolinas for 25 years and builds across 15 diversified project sectors. The Charleston team is a welcoming group of motivated, smart, and value-driven construction professionals. This Safety Manager role will be a great addition to a high-performing office!

Key Responsibilities:
Developing Safety Policies and Procedures
Conducting Safety Training
Performing Safety Inspections
Incident Investigation and Reporting
Risk Assessment and Hazard Analysis
Regulatory Compliance
Emergency Response Planning
Run Safety Meetings
Documentation and Record Keeping
Collaboration and Communication
Continuous Improvement
PPE Management
Subcontractor Coordination

Profile

3+ years of experience working in Safety for a General Contractor or Subcontractor within the construction industry
Preference for experience working on large-scale projects over $20M
Experience managing safety standards on project sites with over 100 workers
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to run meetings & motivate others
Positive attitude, punctual, great communication skills
OSHA 30 certification, more advanced certifications desired (OSHA 500 etc)

Job Offer

Base salary 95-125K contingent on experience
Annual bonus
Vehicle allowance $750/month
