Job Description

Commercial Construction Safety Manager

Our client is a respected employee-owned commercial general contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering complex projects across hospitality, education, industrial, and municipal sectors. Lead implementation and enforcement of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards across active jobsites. Perform safety inspections, document findings, and recommend corrective actions. Develop and deliver training on HAZCOM, PPE, CPR, First Aid, Trench Safety, and related topics. Manage accident reporting, workers' compensation processes, and return-to-work programs. Maintain project safety plans, emergency procedures, disaster preparedness, and OCIP reporting requirements. 10+ years with a commercial general contractor. 5+ years in a construction safety compliance leadership role. Proven experience enforcing OSHA construction regulations. Strong understanding of construction means, methods, equipment, and trade hazards. Knowledge of workers' compensation regulations and incident management practices.
