Job Description
Construction Safety Manager Location: West Jefferson, OH Duration: 6+ Months (Start: Immediate need) Type: 1099 ContractorCompensation & Schedule Pay Rate: $56/hr (Local) | $52/hr (Non-Local) Per Diem: $125/Day (7 Days Per Week) Completion Bonus: $150/month Pay Frequency: Weekly Schedule: Monday-Friday | 50-60 Hours Per Week (Day Shift)Option for 10/4 rotation
Required Qualifications OSHA 500 Certification, BCSP Credential, or Four-Year Safety Degree 5+ years of field construction safety experience
Preferred Qualifications General contractor safety experience Distribution center, warehouse, or logistics facility experience Experience supporting renovation or retrofit projects in occupied facilities

Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
Deliver new hire orientations and ongoing safety training
Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
Partner with project management and field supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
Coordinate safety efforts among multiple trades and subcontractors
Support safe work practices within an active and operational facility
Promote a positive safety culture across the project
