Safety Manager Location: Washington, DC Site Coverage: Overseeing Multiple Projects Simultaneously (Up to 6 Active Projects) Start Date: ASAP Type: Direct Hire W2Compensation & Benefits Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 AnnuallyAnnual bonus (5-10% of salary based on personal and company performance) Benefits: Full Benefits Package Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1st Shift | Approximately 40 Hours Per Week Additional Schedule Details: Frequent field presence required across multiple active projects throughout the Washington, DC region.Why This Opportunity?Join a drywall contractor supporting federal, military, commercial, and mission-critical construction projects throughout the Washington, DC area. Project scopes include drywall installation, interior systems, framing, finish work, and multi-trade construction activities.The Safety Manager will oversee safety performance across multiple active projects, manage onsite safety representatives, conduct field observations, support incident investigations, and ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory safety requirements.Required Qualifications OSHA 30 Construction Certification EM 385-1-1 Training/Certification Current First Aid / CPR / AED Certification Minimum 5+ Years of Construction Safety Experience Previous Safety Management Experience Required Experience Managing Multiple Construction Sites Simultaneously Experience Leading Accident and Incident InvestigationsPreferred Qualifications Bilingual (Spanish) Highly Preferred CHST, ASP, CSP, OHST, or Other BCSP Credential OSHA 500 and/or OSHA 510 Certification Federal Construction Experience Military Construction Experience Data Center Construction ExperienceWhat You'll Be DoingProvide safety leadership across multiple active construction projects
Manage and mentor onsite safety representatives assigned to project sites
Maintain a strong field presence through routine site visits and observations
Develop, implement, and manage company safety programs and initiatives
Conduct site audits, inspections, observations, and hazard assessments
Lead accident investigations and corrective action implementation
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EM 385, client, and project-specific requirements
Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and safety plans
Conduct safety training, orientations, and workforce engagement activities
Work directly with project managers, superintendents, and field leadership
Track safety performance metrics and reporting requirements
Promote a proactive safety culture across all assigned projects
