Safety Room Attendant

Job Title: Safety Room AttendantSchedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay: $15-18/hr. based on experience

Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Safety Room Attendant to manage and maintain our safety supply room. This role is critical to ensuring that employees have consistent access to necessary safety equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and basic clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the safety room
• Stock and restock shelves with safety supplies and equipment
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages
• Receive, unload, and store incoming shipments
• Accurately track inventory
• Perform routine inspections to ensure supplies are readily available and in good condition
• Safely climb ladders and lift/move heavy boxes as needed
• Assist with general administrative and clerical duties related to safety/training records

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in warehouse work, stocking, or inventory management required
• Comfortable climbing ladders and lifting heavy materials on a regular basis
• Basic computer and clerical skills (data entry, inventory systems, etc.)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail
• Valid driver's license required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy boxes (50+ lbs)
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing

Work Environment:

• Primarily outdoor environment.
• May require use of PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, or steel-toe boots.
• Ok with getting dirty and wet at times.
