Safety & Program CoordinatorPay:$23.00 per hourLocation:Miami, OK 74354Shift:Starting at 5: 00 AMJob Type:Temp-to-HireJob Order #:126635Position OverviewStand-By Personnel is seeking a motivated Safety & Program Coordinator to join a growing operation in Miami, OK. This position is responsible for leading workplace safety initiatives, supporting OSHA compliance, conducting employee training, and developing programs that strengthen harvesting and production operations.The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, comfortable working directly with employees and leadership, and passionate about creating a safe, productive, and positive workplace.Required Experience & SkillsBilingual English/Spanish required Previous experience in safety coordination, training, human resources, agriculture, manufacturing, or a related field preferred Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable conducting employee training and presenting information to groups Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees and management Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications Dependable, approachable, and self-motivatedEssential Duties & Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee workplace safety programs and initiatives Support compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies Conduct workplace safety and food safety training for employees Perform routine facility and workplace safety inspections Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective or preventive actions Investigate workplace incidents and assist with corrective action plans Develop and coordinate employee programs supporting harvesting and production operations Partner with managers and supervisors to implement new safety procedures and operational initiatives Maintain accurate training records, safety documentation, and compliance reports Communicate safety expectations clearly to employees at all levels Encourage employee participation in safety and continuous improvement programs Promote a positive, proactive safety culture throughout the organizationPreferred Qualifications Previous safety experience in agriculture, food production, manufacturing, or industrial environments Experience developing or delivering employee training programs Familiarity with food safety practices and production environments Experience maintaining OSHA-related documentation and compliance records Strong employee relations and program coordination experienceKey Strengths for Success Ability to build positive relationships with employees Confident and effective public speaking skills Strong attention to detail and follow-through Passion for workplace safety and employee development Ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities Team-oriented approach with the confidence to work independentlyWork Environment Agricultural, harvesting, and production environment Regular interaction with production employees, supervisors, and management Combination of employee training, safety inspections, program administration, and documentation Fast-paced workplace requiring flexibility, strong communication, and consistent attention to safetyWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive starting pay of $23.00/hour Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Weekly pay Opportunity to directly influence workplace safety and employee development Highly visible role working across harvesting, production, and management teams Excellent opportunity to build a career in safety, training, compliance, and program coordinationReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 417-208-9462 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel Joplin1901 E. 32nd Street, Suite 8Joplin, MO 64804Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
