This position is responsible for promoting workplace safety, ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting employee training, and partnering with leadership to proactively reduce workplace risks.The ideal candidate is a collaborative safety professional who enjoys working directly with employees, improving safety processes, and creating a culture where safety comes first.Required Experience & Skills Minimum 2 years of safety experience in manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices Experience conducting safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks Strong report writing, documentation, and communication skills Ability to identify hazards and implement effective corrective actions Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Reliable attendance and professional work ethicEssential Duties & Responsibilities Promote and reinforce a safety-first culture throughout the organization Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies Conduct safety inspections, audits, and job hazard analyses Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and implement corrective actions Lead new hire safety orientations and ongoing employee safety training Maintain safety records, SDS documentation, incident reports, and training files Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and recommend improvements Facilitate safety committee meetings and company safety initiatives Manage PPE programs and monitor safety supply inventory Track, analyze, and report key safety metrics and trends Support environmental, health, emergency response, and regulatory compliance programs Partner with Human Resources and Operations on workers' compensation and return-to-work programsPreferred Qualifications OSHA 30 Certification Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or a related field Experience with confined spaces, hot work, and powered industrial trucks First Aid/CPR/AED certification Workers' compensation program experiencePhysical Requirements Ability to walk production floors and conduct facility inspections throughout the day Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing as required during safety audits Ability to wear required PPE in manufacturing environments Occasional lifting of safety equipment or training materials up to 25 lbsWork Environment Manufacturing and industrial production facility Combination of office work and time spent on the production floor Fast-paced environment focused on continuous improvement and employee safety Collaborative role working closely with operations, HR, and leadership teamsWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive salary based on experience Stable Monday Friday schedule Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on workplace safety and employee well-being Collaborative leadership environment with room for professional growth Long-term career opportunity with a growing organizationReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
