Job Description
Pay Rate: $25 per hour - $28 per hour
- Location: Pasadena, TX
- Duration: 12 Months
- Work Mode: Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Assemble complex components per assembly drawings/bill of material
- Perform functional testing on assemblies
- Test assemblies per customer and/or division criteria
- Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards
- Apply settings, calibrate, and maintain assembly tools
- Perform torquing of various components
- Distribute quality notifications (qn's)
- Repair safety relief valves to National Board VR Code
- Test safety valves with air, water, & steam
- Read and interpret manufacturers drawings and spring charts
- Understand steam boiler operating and testing
- Apply measurement & math skills to verify critical dimensions
- Perform machine and hand lapping of nozzles and discs
- Perform valve write-up
- Understand the pressure and leak test valves to National Board, API, and ASME standards
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year related experience
- Experience with the assembly of safety valves is preferred
- Experience working with dial calipers
- Experience working with micrometers
- Experience working with Consolidated products is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Reading and interpretation of assembly manuals
- Good communicator
- Attention to detail
- SAP familiarity (ERP systems)
