Job Description
Il Forno Pizza is looking for qualified applicants for our Salad / Appetizer line cook position. Experience working in a scratch kitchen is preferred.
Il Forno is a wood-fired pizza restaurant with a focus on local produce. All food is prepped in house. Charcuterie is hung and cured on site.
Qualified applicants should posses basic knife skills, be able to follow given directions as assigned, the ability to keep their cool under pressure, and ideally a minimum of one year experience in a fast paced scratch kitchen.
Hours per week:
30-35Job Duties:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Pay Frequency: Bi weekly on FridaysJob Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: Starting at $16+/hour
