Job Description

Green Insurance Agency is a faith-based, service-first Medicare and retirement planning agency focused on helping people navigate one of the most confusing decisions of their lives. Our mission is simple: reduce stress, provide clarity, and help people fill the gaps in their insurance coverage.

We are looking for someone who is hardworking, coachable, and willing to put in the effort to grow into a licensed Medicare advisor. This role begins with appointment setting and lead follow-up and transitions into a full sales role once licensing is completed.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants a clear path to a high-income career while being mentored in a team-focused environment.

Pay Structure

Base Pay: $40,000

Commissions: Expect to earn an additional $20k to $40k in commissions, but our top producers are earning $100k in just commissions.

Job Specifics

This is NOT a remote position. Our office is in Orange Park, FL

We will pay to get you licensed and contracted

Must be able to pass a criminal background check in order to get a life/health insurance license and get contracted with all of our carriers.

Responsibilities

This isn't your typical phone sales job. Rather than call people who have no idea who you are or why you are calling, we put you in front of high-intent people who actually want to talk to you. This is done through inbound traffic or appointments that prospects set on your calendar.

We need professionals who will bring their determination and grit to work our process to assist our prospects who want what we provide.

  • Present Medicare products to potential prospects, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements, and Ancillary products (e.g., Cancer, Heart & Stroke, Hospital Indemnity, Recovery Care).
  • Educate prospects on the differences between Medicare products, ensuring they understand their options and how each product fits their needs.
  • Make outbound calls when there are gaps in your calendar with a strong focus on closing leads and nurturing client relationships.
  • Set and manage appointments: During the onboarding stage, set 4 appointments per day for our licensed agents while ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
  • Maintain CRM records: Accurately document client interactions, updates, and sales pipeline progress in the CRM system to ensure seamless tracking and reporting.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities to offer additional insurance products, such as life insurance, annuities, or other financial solutions.
  • Provide policy servicing: Assist existing clients with policy updates, renewals, and cross-sell opportunities when appropriate.
  • Adhere to compliance standards: Ensure all sales activities comply with Medicare guidelines and regulations, including obtaining and maintaining proper certifications and licensing.
  • Stay informed about market trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and Medicare policy changes to provide the best solutions to clients.
  • Collaborate with team members: Share best practices and work together to improve processes and achieve team goals.
  • Represent the company professionally: Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions, both internally and externally.
