About the role:

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our dynamic Commercial team as a Sales and Event Coordinator. This role provides administrative support to the Commercial Director/ Director and Sales Manager while being familiar with all aspects of the booking process.

What you will do:

  • Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls to Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage, and Executive Office

  • Prepare accurate written correspondence including letters, contracts, reports, banquet event orders, schedule of events, printed menus, and emails using MS Word, Delphi, Docusign

  • Maintain Delphi accounts, including traces, creating and updating bookings, manipulating events in the function diary and the preparation of banquet event orders

  • Maintain the various Sales and Catering file systems, both electronic and paper distribution, including Account Files, Addendums, Contracts, Vendor Resource Files and Resumes.

  • Operate a variety of electronic and manual office resources

What you bring

  • Excellent reading, writing & oral proficiency in the English language

  • Good organizational skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask

  • Able to handle telephone calls in an efficient and courteous manner.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams, and Delphi.

Schedule & Hours:

  • This is a full-time position. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours weekly. This role is typically scheduled Monday-Friday from 9am -6pm, but will occasionally required to overtime or weekends as needed
