Sales and Service HVAC Technician

Commission-Based | Target Earnings $80,000-$120,000+ annually

Albuquerque, NM | Full-Time Monday-Friday | Overtime and On-Call Opportunities Available

First Rate Plumbing Heating and Cooling has been serving Albuquerque homeowners since 1999, and our company continues to grow year after year. We're looking for a customer-focused technician who enjoys both solving HVAC issues and helping homeowners make informed comfort decisions. This role combines residential HVAC service work with equipment replacement and upgrade opportunities, allowing you to maximize your income while building trusted customer relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems
  • Identify replacement opportunities and system upgrades
  • Educate homeowners on comfort solutions and equipment options
  • Deliver exceptional customer service during every appointment
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and communication
  • Support company goals through professionalism and strong performance

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC service experience
  • EPA Certification required
  • Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Sales-minded approach with confidence recommending solutions
  • Organized, self-motivated, and dependable
  • HVAC trade school training preferred

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
