The right person brings experience, expertise, and an unrelenting drive to improve cash flows for clients. You will need to have a self-driven, conscientious mentality with a commitment to creating innovations through high-quality work.What Your Day Will Look LikeOur Managers, work with our clients to plan for and manage various sales and use tax issues. This is a consulting position, and your work with us will include assisting clients in various capacities related to sales/use tax matters. In general, you can expect to:

• Lead and manage multiple complex sales and use tax engagements.
• Develop and implement innovative tax planning strategies for clients.
• Monitor and communicate changes in state tax laws and regulations.
• Provide clear and comprehensive written communications on key tax issues to the firm and clients.
• Mentor and develop Associates and Senior Associates enhancing their technical and client service skills.
• Cultivate strong client relationships and deliver exceptional client service.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, MIS, or a related field.
• CPA, CMI, or JD is a plus
• Minimum of 6 years of state and local tax experience with a focus on indirect (sales & use) tax compliance and consulting.
• Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff.
• Strong relationship management and practice development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to attract new clients and expand services to existing clients.
